This event was open to all current and past JSC members. Many thanks to the race committee and all the volunteers who made this event a great success!



The members and past members raced on a somewhat windy day with NW wind around 10-15mph with gusts approaching 20mph. The wind let off later in the day.



All fleets were represented in the 50th anniversary regatta.



Strong gusts and good winds greeted the fleet at the start of the regatta.



The first race show a good breakaway by the C Scows with Kevin Kuse, Rick MacClymont and Rob Mayer opening a big lead. But the day was not kind to the Windmill fleet with everyone in the fleet taking a quick or sometimes a prolonged dip in the lovely waters of Lake Jacomo.



Race two saw strong gusts again with the fleet spreading out but Kevin Kuse once again prevailed.



Race three saw an early lead by Kevin Kuse taken away by Rob Mayer. Rob in turn was passed by Todd Pesek who held on to the lead to finish 1st in the last race. The regatta enjoyed a good race day with all enjoying the fine winds and weather.
